A self-taught vocalist, Zander Bleck grew up in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, where his grandmother owned a farm in the 1920s and where both his parents were born and raised. When he was nine, he fell in love with rock'n'roll while watching a video of The Who perform at Woodstock. At 16, he was approached by a modeling agent who encouraged him to try his luck in New York City. By his senior year of high school, he had signed with an agency and began commuting into Manhattan. After graduating, he moved there full-time with $400 in his pocket, and eventually found himself traveling the world (view this). Upon returning from his travels in Europe, he returned to his true passion of music and started his first rock band, Monument. But as it often goes with bands, things fell apart after their break didn’t materialize. Zander Bleck is a rocker on a mission. In a pop world dominated big dance beats, he wants to spice things up a little by infusing his anthemic pop songs with a potent rock vibe. He just premiered the video for his official début single "Temptation", which perfectly introduces music fans to what Zander Bleck is all about. The song clearly demonstrates his classic rock edge and larger than life vocals while also incorporating hitmaker RedOne's signature, chart-savvy sound that has a proven mass appeal.
