Model : Nemanja Maksic (part 2)
Nemanja Maksic is a boy from a small town in Serbia who was discovered working at a cafe in Belgrade, where he had gone to study medicine. So this kid has both brains and good looks -something that never gets lost in translation. Scouted by a fellow model who took him to meet Fox Models, after two weeks he was in Milan, strutting his stuff on the runway for Trussardi. He did presentations and shows for almost every major brand. His look is both runway and editorial, he has a purity and innocence yet he is quite enigmatic -possibly because of his eyebrows. Signed with agencies in Milan, Paris, London, New York and Belgrade, it's no surprise he's operating at full throttle. And Morphosis offers you today to spend the weekend with a good many pictures of Nemanja Marsic !

Omar Kashoura
Heralding from the London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins, Omar Kashoura has impeccable credentials, and nowhere else is this better manifested than in his eponymous label. Intricate detailing takes his tailoring in a refreshing direction, imbuing his collections with a contemporary-yet-unintimidating aesthetics. American poet and Beat movement pioneer Allen Ginsberg’s unconventional style was once again reinvigorated for this season's collection, which displayed an undeniably beatnik vibe. The designer claimed to have been inspired by the process of self-discovery and catharsis from civilization that the Beat poets experienced while traveling through the arid landscapes of Nevada’s Black Rock desert. In order to stress the contrast between the savage nature and sophisticated urbanity, he chose the cosmopolitan environment of downtown London’s Christopher’s bar and its soothing earthy colors as the setting for the runway show. The collection was anchored by an engaging attempt to investigate the dialectic duality between civility and wilderness that proved to be very successfully resolved at all stages. The male silhouettes were fitted and clearly followed formal tailoring techniques, and yet the garments could be worn in a fluid and relaxed manner. Similarly, the fabrics were simultaneously elegant and tactile, combining silks, linens, light cottons, and horse hair that was woven and used as a detail for collars and on footwear. The idea that civility could be diluted into nature was explored in the deconstruction of traditional menswear patterns and fabrics, with herringbones, check, and tweed existing only as digital printed versions of their originals in unusual pale shades. The color scheme perfectly encapsulated the dusty orange of the fiery landscape, while touches of deep blue seemed reflective of the ethereal minerals which pepper the rocks of this paleogeological phenomena. The palette reflected the attempt to combine opposites by mixing earthy tones with richer shades : taupe, camel and cream were worn alongside burnt orange, navy and dark gray. Garments combined impeccable side buttoning and belts in jackets and blazers with pleated trousers and shorts, while stunning cotton knits shone through in yet another accomplished collection. Models were as bearded as the designer, with slick styled hair, which added to the relaxed but dapper vibe from the collection. A new modern dandy was presented by Omar Kashoura, which placed more emphasis on thrown together outfits with meticulous attention to detail, rather than the perhaps outdated Savile Row-tailored version favored by some designers.
